Brighton Beach Logo Design

Nearly every new Brighton Beach organization knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely understand the crucial role their logo will play in their success, or exactly why one business logo performs better than another. A business logo has a critical and long-term impact on the financial success of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Brighton Beach companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Brighton Beach coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were opening up in an old section of the community and really wanted to cast an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks via designing a custom logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria made for Brighton Beach medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which works with the laboratory assessment of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a family members fun center in Brighton Beach.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Brighton Beach traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather project emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Brighton Beach logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Brighton Beach logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the value of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo understand how essential a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Brighton Beach book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Brighton Beach logo design made use of for advertising and also a label design for Vintage Situation features an antiquated typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Brighton Beach, style include an arc with lines converging via it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design which carried a feeling of relaxation and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of making just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is oftentimes the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the attention on the emotion that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo style for a software developer the style features and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell off their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Brighton Beach logo design dsign using a graphic which pulls in the attention of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really developed for an Brighton Beach regional farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this particular company was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to make a image that projects confidence, financial success, and wealth.
Logo made for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is evocative a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to design a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
