East Meadow Logo Design

Every new East Meadow organization realizes that they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully are aware of the vital role their organization logo will make in their financial success, or precisely why one logo design works better than another. A logo design has a critical and long-term effect on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help East Meadow companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a East Meadow coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were launching in an older part of town and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned feel without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by means of designing a trademark concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria created for East Meadow medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family enjoyable center in East Meadow.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for East Meadow travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  East Meadow logo design but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

East Meadow logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial judgements on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo realize how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for East Meadow publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most vital part of a published book because it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems that in many cases one of the aspects people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a spirit of flight and it was certainly a winner.

East Meadow logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this logo design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in East Meadow, design consist of an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that communicated a spirit of tranquility and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious route of designing simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the attention on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software program developer the design functions and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the significance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

Evolve logo layout created for a East Meadow interior designer, layout attribute a series of red circles that intersect as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their East Meadow logo dsign using an illustration which captures the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really produced for an East Meadow area farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this business logo was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to design a image that projected assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo designed for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is evocative a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the business owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
