East Tremont Logo Design

Each and every new East Tremont venture realizes that they need a logo, but few new business owners entirely recognize the essential role their business logo can make in their success, or why one logo design works far better than another. A logo has an immediate and long-term effect on the success of a company, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help East Tremont companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand scrutiny, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a East Tremont coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were opening in an older section of the city and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs by means of designing a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria created for East Tremont clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members fun facility in East Tremont.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for East Tremont travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather convey emotional journeys through the images they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  East Tremont logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

East Tremont logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective assessments on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo design recognize how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of difficulties, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for East Tremont publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most important part of a published book considering that it is often the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems that in many cases one of the items consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a sense of air travel and it was surely a victory.

East Tremont logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label design for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in East Tremont, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it appears that each and every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentist logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that projected a spirit of ease and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious direction of crafting just a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is frequently the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software program designer the layout attributes as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo design is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their East Tremont logo dsign along with an image that seizes the attention of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t really produced for an East Tremont area farm it was really devised for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to design a brand mark that projected assurance, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design created for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript typeface that is similar to a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
