Greenburgh, New York Logo Design

Virtually every new Greenburgh venture understands that they require a logo, however few new business owners entirely comprehend the pivotal role their company logo can perform in their financial success, or precisely why one logo design functions better than another. A logo design has a critical and sustaining effect on the success of a business, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Greenburgh, New York companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Greenburgh, New York coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older part of town and wanted to cast a retro feel without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by means of developing a logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for Greenburgh, New York medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family members enjoyable center in Greenburgh, New York.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for Greenburgh, New York travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather convey emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Greenburgh logo design but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Greenburgh logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how vital a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of challenges, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, layout for Greenburgh, New York publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most necessary part of a printed book given that it is often the initial thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many cases 1 of the things consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to confering a sense of flight and it was surely a victory.

Greenburgh logo style used for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Greenburgh, New York, layout include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it seems that every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really really love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that carried an atmosphere of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of creating just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo design which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is generally the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the focus on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software program developer the design functions and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to market their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Greenburgh logo design dsign utilizing an illustration which garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t really produced for an Greenburgh, New York area farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to design a graphic that projects self-confidence, effectiveness, and wealth.

Greenburgh Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design function for outwardly encountering arrow and the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the freedom to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Thankfully, in this particular instance, I nailed a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo design designed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is similar to a popular sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to create a logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
