Hempstead Logo Design

Every new Hempstead company realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners fully recognize the crucial role their organization logo can play in their financial success, or exactly why one logo functions better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Hempstead businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Hempstead coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an old part of the city and hoped to cast a nostalgic feel without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks by means of designing a custom logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria developed for Hempstead clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical evaluation of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recall where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family enjoyable facility in Hempstead.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Hempstead travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Hempstead logo design but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Hempstead logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo comprehend how vital a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of hurdles, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Hempstead publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most crucial part of a published book since it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the items folks often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a victory.

Hempstead logo design utilized for advertising and a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Hempstead, layout include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo projects because it appears that every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that projected a sense of contentment and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo design that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is in most cases the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Arabian steed logo design created for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo style a small restaurant, design contains a modified manuscript font style which hovers above a team of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout functions and also renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to market their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Hempstead logo dsign along with an illustration that garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t actually designed for an Hempstead regional farm it was really created for a products broker, and this brand was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to make a graphic that projects esteem, success, and affluence.
Logo designed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is evocative a well-known sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
