Kenmore Logo Design

Every new Kenmore company realizes that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the crucial role their logo design will take in their financial success, or precisely why one logo performs more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and long term effect on the financial success of a business, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Kenmore businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand scrutiny, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Kenmore coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an older part of town and hoped to visualize a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks by designing a business logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs made for Kenmore clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the clinical examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a family members enjoyable facility in Kenmore.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Kenmore traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead project emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Kenmore logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Kenmore logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their business logo realize how essential a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of difficulties, but the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Kenmore publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it seems that in many instances one of the items individuals tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a feeling of air travel and it was definitely a success.

Kenmore logo style made use of for advertising and marketing and also a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an old font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Kenmore, style include an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs because it appears that each and every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that related a spirit of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a company logo which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the attention on the feeling that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo style for a software program programmer the layout functions as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Kenmore logo design dsign along with a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t really produced for an Kenmore area farm it was in reality devised for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to develop a graphic that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo made for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is similar to a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo design that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
