New Rochelle, New York Logo Design

Every new New Rochelle venture understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly realize the pivotal role their logo design will perform in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has an instant and sustaining influence on the prosperity of a business, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help New Rochelle, New York businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand consideration, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a New Rochelle, New York coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older section of the town and hoped to cast a nostalgic feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs via designing a symbol design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for New Rochelle, New York medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents rather literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a family enjoyable facility in New Rochelle, New York.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - developed for New Rochelle, New York travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  New Rochelle logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

New Rochelle logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his hatred for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design recognize how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of challenges, however the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for New Rochelle, New York book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. Concerning a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems that in many instances 1 of the traits individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to confering a sense of air travel and it was definitely a success.

New Rochelle logo style used for marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Instance features an antiquated typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in New Rochelle, New York, layout consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that each and every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that related an atmosphere of peace and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious path of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather designed a business logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the focus on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software program developer the layout attributes as well as legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their New Rochelle logo design dsign with an illustration that grabs the attention of traffic and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t really composed for an New Rochelle, New York regional farm it was in reality developed for a products broker, and this logo design was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to make an identity that projects trust, financial success, and affluence.

New Rochelle Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo style function for externally dealing with arrowhead and the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the flexibility to explore any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without recognizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular instance, I struck a bullseye with the first go.

Logo design created for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is evocative a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a business logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
