North Bay Shore Logo Design

Each and every new North Bay Shore organization understands that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners fully recognize the crucial role their business logo will take in their success, or exactly why one logo works more effectively than another. A business logo has a critical and long-term impact on the growth of a company, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help North Bay Shore companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand consideration, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a North Bay Shore coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were launching in an old section of the town and wanted to visualize a retro feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks via designing a company logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria developed for North Bay Shore clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in North Bay Shore.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for North Bay Shore traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather project emotional journeys through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Bay Shore logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

North Bay Shore logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get honest point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo comprehend how important a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo project possesses it’s share of obstacles, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for North Bay Shore book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it really is the most important part of a printed book considering that it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects consumers often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a victory.

North Bay Shore logo style used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Situation includes an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in North Bay Shore, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that each and every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize precisely how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which conveyed a spirit of peace and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of making merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo design that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is oftentimes the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo style produced for an equine cattle ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Coffee shop logo style a tiny restaurant, style includes a changed script font which floats above a group of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout features and also iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism behind a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their North Bay Shore logo design dsign along with a graphic that captures the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really composed for an North Bay Shore regional farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to develop a brand mark that projected esteem, financial success, and opulence.
Logo created for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a renowned sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the owner to produce a logo design which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
