North Valley Stream Logo Design

Every new North Valley Stream company knows they require a logo, however few new business owners entirely understand the crucial role their logo can make in their success, or precisely why one logo works far better than another. A company logo has an immediate and long-term effect on the prosperity of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help North Valley Stream companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a North Valley Stream coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an old section of the area and hoped to project an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks by developing a custom logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for North Valley Stream clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable facility in North Valley Stream.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for North Valley Stream travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Valley Stream logo design but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

North Valley Stream logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get impartial point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for North Valley Stream book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most essential part of a published book considering that it is often the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of air travel and it was surely a winner.

North Valley Stream logo design utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a label design for Vintage Instance features an old font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this logo design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in North Valley Stream, design include an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects considering that it appears that virtually every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that related a spirit of calmness and class for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious path of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather created a logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software programmer the layout attributes and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a business logo is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to market their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their North Valley Stream logo dsign along with an illustration that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t really designed for an North Valley Stream regional farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this particular trademark was one of several which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to produce a graphic that projects self-assurance, success, and affluence.
Logo design made for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is evocative a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the proprietor to create a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
