Seaford Logo Design

Every new Seaford venture realizes that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely understand the vital role their company logo will perform in their becoming successful, or why one business logo functions better than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining impact on the financial success of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Seaford businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be realized in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Seaford coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an older section of the town and wanted to visualize an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by developing a custom logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria developed for Seaford medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog created for a household fun center in Seaford.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Seaford traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Seaford logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Seaford logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s share of hurdles, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Seaford book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most important part of a published book due to the fact that it is usually the first thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems like that in many instances one of the aspects consumers usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was definitely a success.

Seaford logo layout made use of for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Seaford, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it appears that every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo that carried a feeling of ease and class for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious path of making merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is more often than not the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design developed for a steed ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind company logo concept fashioned to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. By having an unique head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly easily recognizable horse breeds in the world.

Logo layout for a software program programmer the layout functions and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the company it represents.

Advance logo layout produced for a Seaford interior designer, style attribute a series of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Seaford business logo dsign with an image which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Seaford area farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this company was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to develop an identity that projected confidence, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design made for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is evocative a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
