Spring Valley, New York Logo Design

Each and every new Spring Valley business realizes that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly understand the essential role their logo design can make in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo works far better than another. A logo design has a critical and long term impact on the success of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Spring Valley, New York businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be realized in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Spring Valley, New York coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an older part of the city and wanted to cast an old-fashioned tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via developing a trademark concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs designed for Spring Valley, New York medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members enjoyable center in Spring Valley, New York.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Spring Valley, New York traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather reveal emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Spring Valley logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Spring Valley logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo understand how essential a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of difficulties, however the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Spring Valley, New York book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most critical part of a published book considering that it is often the first thing a person views in the book store. For a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems like that in many instances 1 of the traits people often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was certainly a winner.

Spring Valley logo style used for advertising and marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Situation features an antiquated font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Spring Valley, New York, design include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects because it appears that every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really really love doing dentistry business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that projected a spirit of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious path of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is more often than not the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Arabian equine logo design developed for a horse ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a distinct business logo concept tailored to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. With an identifiable head form and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most easily recognizable horse lineages in the world.

Logo design for a software program programmer the design attributes as well as renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Spring Valley logo dsign along with a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really developed for an Spring Valley, New York regional farm it was really devised for a commodities broker, and this logo was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to create a graphic that projected self-confidence, success, and luxury.

Spring Valley Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style attribute for outwardly encountering arrowhead and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without recognizing where the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the first go.

Logo made for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is similar to a famous sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the owner to design a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
