Valley Stream Logo Design

Every new Valley Stream venture realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the pivotal role their company logo will play in their success, or why one logo design performs better than another. A company logo has an immediate and long-term impact on the prosperity of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Valley Stream companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand scrutiny, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Valley Stream coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were launching in an older section of the community and wished to visualize a nostalgic feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via creating a custom logo concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria developed for Valley Stream clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the clinical assessment of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping green frog designed for a family members fun facility in Valley Stream.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Valley Stream traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Valley Stream logo but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Valley Stream logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral opinions on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo realize how important a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of hurdles, however the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Valley Stream book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, yet it is the most essential part of a published book because it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits people often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was certainly a winner.

Valley Stream logo design made use of for marketing and a label style for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Valley Stream, style include an arc with lines converging through it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo projects considering that it appears that almost every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which carried an atmosphere of calmness and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious path of creating just a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo design that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is frequently the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo design for a software programmer the layout features and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

Develop logo layout produced for a Valley Stream interior developer, style feature a collection of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to sell their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Valley Stream logo design dsign utilizing an image that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually designed for an Valley Stream regional farm it was in reality developed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of many which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to create a brand mark that projected assurance, financial success, and affluence.
Logo created for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is evocative a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the owner to create a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
