Whitestone Logo Design

Each and every new Whitestone venture understands that they need a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly comprehend the crucial role their logo will take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo works far better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long-term impact on the prosperity of a business, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Whitestone businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Whitestone coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were launching in an older section of the area and really wanted to visualize a vintage vibe without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs by developing a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also germs created for Whitestone clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I remember where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a family members enjoyable center in Whitestone.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Whitestone traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather reveal emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they often share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Whitestone logo design but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Whitestone logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial assessments on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo understand how essential a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of difficulties, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Whitestone publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will likely ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it looks like that in many occurrences one of the things folks often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of air travel and it was certainly a success.

Whitestone logo layout made use of for marketing and also a label design for Vintage Situation includes an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Whitestone, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects due to the fact that it seems that each and every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo which projected a sense of relaxation and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious course of crafting just a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is usually the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo layout created for a horse ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a distinct creative logo concept tailored to display the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. With a different head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily identifiable equine types in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo style a tiny dining establishment, layout consists of a customized manuscript font which floats above a team of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo style for a software program programmer the design functions and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a company logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

Evolve logo style produced for a Whitestone interior developer, layout function a series of red circles that intersect as well as change the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Whitestone logo design assignment was done for a leadership consultant that assists business professionals to develop into more efficient at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to market their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Whitestone business logo dsign along with an illustration which grabs the attention of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really produced for an Whitestone area farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this particular logo was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to develop a graphic that projects confidence, success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is evocative a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the proprietor to create a logo design which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
