Goldsboro Logo Design

Nearly every new Goldsboro business understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners fully are aware of the crucial role their organization logo can take in their success, or exactly why one business logo functions better than another. A logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the financial success of a company, select the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Goldsboro businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand scrutiny, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Goldsboro coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were opening up in an old part of the community and wanted to cast a vintage vibe without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs by means of creating a business logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs created for Goldsboro medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a family enjoyable facility in Goldsboro.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Goldsboro travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Goldsboro logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Goldsboro logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo design comprehend how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of difficulties, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Goldsboro book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most vital part of a published book due to the fact that it is usually the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the items consumers usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a good sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Goldsboro logo layout made use of for advertising and also a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this business logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Goldsboro, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects considering that it seems that each and every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to explain specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that communicated a sense of relaxation and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious route of making merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a company logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is in most cases the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo style for a software program programmer the style attributes and also iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the significance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Goldsboro business logo dsign utilizing a graphic that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t really created for an Goldsboro area farm it was really devised for a products broker, and this company was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to create an identity that projected self-assurance, financial success, and luxury.
Logo design made for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is similar to a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
