Morrisville Logo Design

Virtually every new Morrisville company realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners entirely are aware of the pivotal role their logo design will perform in their success, or why one business logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long term impact on the financial success of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Morrisville companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Morrisville coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old part of the town and wished to cast a nostalgic feel without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both jobs via designing a logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Morrisville clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable facility in Morrisville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Morrisville travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Morrisville logo design but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Morrisville logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get honest point of views on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo comprehend how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s allotment of hurdles, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Morrisville publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most crucial part of a published book because it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was certainly a winner.

Morrisville logo style made use of for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Morrisville, layout include an arc with lines converging via it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that communicated a feeling of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious direction of crafting merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a company logo which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is generally the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the main focus on the feeling that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software application designer the layout functions and renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Morrisville logo dsign along with an image which garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t actually produced for an Morrisville regional farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to create a graphic that projects confidence, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo design created for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is evocative a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to create a logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
