Stallings Logo Design

Every new Stallings business realizes that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely realize the pivotal role their business logo can play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design works far better than another. A logo has an instant and long term influence on the growth of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Stallings companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Stallings coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an older section of town and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks by designing a logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria developed for Stallings medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which works with the clinical evaluation of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping green frog created for a family members fun facility in Stallings.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - created for Stallings traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead convey emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Stallings logo design but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Stallings logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo realize how essential a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo job has it’s share of challenges, however the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Stallings publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most critical part of a published book since it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems like that in many cases one of the things people usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a feeling of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Stallings logo design utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Case features an old font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Stallings, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it seems that almost every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which conveyed a sense of simplicity and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious direction of creating just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the focus on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian steed logo design developed for an equine ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a unique organization logo design fashioned to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. By having an unique head form and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most easily identifiable horse breeds in the whole world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a small restaurant, layout contains a modified manuscript font which floats over a team of ornate lines and dots.

Logo design for a software application designer the layout features and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Advance logo layout created for a Stallings indoor developer, layout attribute a collection of red circles that converge and replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Stallings logo design job was completed for a leadership expert that aids business leaders to become more successful at supervising people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Stallings logo dsign with an image which pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t actually created for an Stallings regional farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this particular logo was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to develop an identity that projects self-assurance, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design designed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is similar to a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to create a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
