West Fargo, North Dakota Logo Design

Each and every new West Fargo organization realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners fully realize the essential role their logo will make in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design performs more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting impact on the growth of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help West Fargo, North Dakota companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be ageless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a West Fargo, North Dakota coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an older section of the city and wished to visualize a vintage feel without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via creating a custom logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for West Fargo, North Dakota clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I recollect where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a family fun center in West Fargo, North Dakota.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for West Fargo, North Dakota travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  West Fargo logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

West Fargo logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I really enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however my client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo recognize how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for West Fargo, North Dakota publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most necessary part of a published book since it is often the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity they will ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it seems like that in many cases one of the aspects consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was certainly a winner.

West Fargo logo style utilized for marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in West Fargo, North Dakota, design include an arc with lines converging through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo projects due to the fact that it appears that every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which carried a spirit of tranquility and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious direction of making just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo style for a software program programmer the layout functions as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a logo design is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell off their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their West Fargo business logo dsign along with a graphic which grabs the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t really created for an West Fargo, North Dakota regional farm it was really created for a products broker, and this particular brand was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to produce an identity that projects trust, effectiveness, and affluence.

West Fargo Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style feature for outwardly dealing with arrowhead and the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the opportunity to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where the target is. Luckily, in this case, I nailed a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo design developed for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is similar to a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the business owner to design a logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
