Beavercreek, Ohio Logo Design

Every new Beavercreek organization knows they need a logo, however few new business owners fully grasp the essential role their logo design can play in their financial success, or why one business logo functions better than another. A logo design has an immediate and sustaining effect on the prosperity of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Beavercreek, Ohio businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to movie screens a scalable logo design will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.
Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Beavercreek, Ohio coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an old section of the area and really wanted to cast a vintage feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs via developing a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs made for Beavercreek, Ohio medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory evaluation of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family members enjoyable facility in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Beavercreek, Ohio traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Beavercreek logo design but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Beavercreek logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his hatred for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get objective opinions on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo design comprehend how essential a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of obstacles, however the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Beavercreek, Ohio publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it looks like that in many cases 1 of the aspects folks often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was definitely a winner.

Beavercreek logo layout utilized for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Instance includes an antiquated font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Beavercreek, Ohio, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo that projected an atmosphere of relaxation and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo design which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is more often than not the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the focus on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo design produced for a horse cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software program programmer the style features and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to market their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Beavercreek logo design dsign using an illustration which captures the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually produced for an Beavercreek, Ohio area farm it was actually developed for a commodities broker, and this particular company was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to develop a image that projected esteem, financial success, and prosperity.

Beavercreek Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for outwardly dealing with arrowhead as well as the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they wanted, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the opportunity to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without understanding where exactly the target is. Fortunately, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo developed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the owner to develop a business logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
