Cuyahoga Falls Logo Design

Each and every new Cuyahoga Falls business knows they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely are aware of the key role their business logo will perform in their financial success, or exactly why one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and lasting effect on the success of a business, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Cuyahoga Falls businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be grasped in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Cuyahoga Falls coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an old section of the community and hoped to project an old-fashioned vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of designing a business logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and also germs developed for Cuyahoga Falls medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory examination of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more appealing, more focus grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping green frog made for a family members fun center in Cuyahoga Falls.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Cuyahoga Falls travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Cuyahoga Falls logo design but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Cuyahoga Falls logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced assessments on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their business logo comprehend how important a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s share of hurdles, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Cuyahoga Falls publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most vital part of a published book due to the fact that it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. Concerning a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems that in many instances one of the aspects individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

Cuyahoga Falls logo layout utilized for advertising and a label design for Vintage Instance features an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be much older cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Cuyahoga Falls, design include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo projects because it seems that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dentist logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that carried an atmosphere of ease and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious direction of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo design that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is generally the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a tiny dining establishment, layout consists of a changed manuscript font which floats above a group of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo style for a software developer the layout attributes and renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a logo design is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Cuyahoga Falls logo design project was carried out for a leadership coach that aids business professionals to become more effective at managing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell off their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Cuyahoga Falls logo dsign with a graphic that pulls in the interest of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really developed for an Cuyahoga Falls area farm it was in reality designed for a commodities broker, and this logo was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to develop an identity that projected assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo design made for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the owner to create a logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
