East Cleveland Logo Design

Each and every new East Cleveland venture realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the essential role their organization logo can take in their becoming successful, or why one business logo works more effectively than another. A business logo has an immediate and lasting influence on the success of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help East Cleveland companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be realized in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a East Cleveland coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an old section of the area and hoped to project a retro feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs by means of creating a logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and also bacteria developed for East Cleveland medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in East Cleveland.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for East Cleveland travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather project emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  East Cleveland logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

East Cleveland logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo design comprehend how vital a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s portion of challenges, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for East Cleveland publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, however it is the most crucial part of a published book because it is in most cases the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many cases 1 of the things individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a spirit of air travel and it was surely a victory.

East Cleveland logo style utilized for marketing and a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an antiquated font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this business logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in East Cleveland, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo which related a sense of serenity and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept that did not go the obvious path of making merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is usually the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the main focus on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian steed logo style produced for a steed ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software application developer the style attributes and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the substance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their East Cleveland logo dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really produced for an East Cleveland area farm it was really developed for a products broker, and this particular business logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to develop a graphic that projected esteem, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo designed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the owner to create a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
