Fremont Logo Design

Each and every new Fremont organization understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely comprehend the essential role their organization logo will play in their financial success, or precisely why one logo performs more effectively than another. A company logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the growth of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Fremont businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require contemplation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Fremont coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an old section of the community and hoped to project a vintage feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these jobs by means of developing a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria made for Fremont medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical assessment of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping green frog developed for a family fun center in Fremont.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Fremont traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fremont logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Fremont logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced opinions on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo design realize how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s share of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Fremont book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most important part of a published book since it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems like that in many cases 1 of the traits consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Fremont logo design used for advertising and also a tag design for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Fremont, design consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it appears that almost every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo that projected a spirit of simplicity and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Logo design for a software developer the layout functions and also iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to market their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Fremont logo design dsign along with a graphic that pulls in the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t actually designed for an Fremont area farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to design a graphic that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design created for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
