Mansfield Logo Design

Every new Mansfield venture knows they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the vital role their logo will play in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo performs better than another. A logo has an immediate and long term effect on the prosperity of a business, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Mansfield businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand contemplation, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will remain legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Mansfield coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an old part of the city and wanted to cast a nostalgic tone without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by means of designing a custom logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs made for Mansfield clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical assessment of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping green frog created for a family fun facility in Mansfield.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Mansfield traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Mansfield logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Mansfield logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo design realize how essential a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo project has it’s allotment of obstacles, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Mansfield book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most vital part of a printed book considering that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Mansfield logo design made use of for marketing and a label design for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this brand concept I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Mansfield, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that each and every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo that conveyed a spirit of serenity and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo design that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is in most cases the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software program programmer the layout attributes as well as legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the owner of the company and in many cases the substance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell off their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Mansfield logo dsign utilizing an image which grabs the attention of traffic and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t actually produced for an Mansfield regional farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this particular company logo was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to design an identity that projects self-assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo design created for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the business owner to design a logo design which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
