Marysville Logo Design

Each and every new Marysville venture knows they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly are aware of the crucial role their company logo can perform in their success, or why one logo functions far better than another. A company logo has a critical and sustaining influence on the financial success of a company, select the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Marysville businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Marysville coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were launching in an old part of town and wanted to cast an old-fashioned vibe without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished both tasks via developing a business logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as germs developed for Marysville clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in Marysville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Marysville traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Marysville logo but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Marysville logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Marysville book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, however it is the most crucial part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the primary thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences one of the traits people usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was certainly a success.

Marysville logo design utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this custom logo design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Marysville, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it seems that each and every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that describes itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair style workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which related an atmosphere of peace and class for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious route of designing just a stylized orchid but rather created a business logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is usually the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the attention on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software application programmer the style functions and also famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk management. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the substance supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Marysville business logo dsign with a graphic which garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t actually produced for an Marysville area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to produce an identity that projects esteem, success, and prosperity.
Logo design designed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script typeface that is similar to a renowned sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the owner to produce a logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
