North Royalton Logo Design

Every new North Royalton company understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly understand the crucial role their business logo can play in their financial success, or why one logo design works far better than another. A business logo has a critical and long-term impact on the success of a business, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help North Royalton businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a North Royalton coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and bistro were opening in an old section of the area and wanted to project a retro tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both tasks via creating a sign concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria designed for North Royalton medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the clinical assessment of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more interest grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog created for a family members fun center in North Royalton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for North Royalton traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead project emotional journeys through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Royalton logo design but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

North Royalton logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo comprehend how important a logo is for their business so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo project possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for North Royalton book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most essential part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With regard to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems like that in many instances 1 of the aspects folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

North Royalton logo design utilized for advertising and a label style for Vintage Instance features an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this brand design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in North Royalton, style include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs considering that it appears that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair design studio including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo that conveyed a sense of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo layout a small restaurant, style includes a modified script font which hovers over a group of ornate lines and dots.

Logo design for a software program designer the layout attributes as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their North Royalton logo design dsign using an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really created for an North Royalton regional farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this particular logo design was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to develop a image that projects trust, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo created for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
