Reynoldsburg Logo Design

Every new Reynoldsburg business understands that they require a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly are aware of the key role their organization logo can play in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo works more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and sustaining effect on the financial success of a business, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Reynoldsburg businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Reynoldsburg coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an older part of town and wished to visualize a vintage tone without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks via creating a company logo concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs created for Reynoldsburg medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable center in Reynoldsburg.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Reynoldsburg traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather reveal emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they frequently share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Reynoldsburg logo but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Reynoldsburg logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo design realize how crucial a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s allotment of challenges, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Reynoldsburg book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most vital part of a printed book because it is often the first thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems that in many occurrences one of the items individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a good sense of flight and it was surely a winner.

Reynoldsburg logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Reynoldsburg, design consist of an arc with lines converging via it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it seems that every single dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that carried a spirit of relaxation and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious course of crafting merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a company logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is in most cases the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Logo style for a software application programmer the design features and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Reynoldsburg logo design dsign with an illustration which grabs the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t really composed for an Reynoldsburg regional farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this company was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to develop a graphic that projects self-confidence, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo designed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is similar to a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to design a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
