South Euclid Logo Design

Nearly every new South Euclid company realizes that they require a logo, however few new business owners fully comprehend the key role their company logo can make in their success, or why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and long term impact on the financial success of a company, select the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help South Euclid companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be understood in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will be legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a South Euclid coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were opening in an old part of the area and wished to project an old-fashioned tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by designing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for South Euclid medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that works with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog developed for a household enjoyable center in South Euclid.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - made for South Euclid traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  South Euclid logo design but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

South Euclid logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of obstacles, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for South Euclid publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book because it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems like that in many instances one of the things individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

South Euclid logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be older cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in South Euclid, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most difficult logo projects because it appears that each and every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that conveyed an atmosphere of calmness and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of creating just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a company logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is usually the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the main focus on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo design a little restaurant, design contains a changed script font style which floats above a team of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo style for a software application developer the style features and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to market their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their South Euclid logo design dsign utilizing an image that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t really designed for an South Euclid regional farm it was really developed for an investments broker, and this particular business logo was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to generate a graphic that projected esteem, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design developed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is similar to a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo design that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
