Claremore Logo Design

Virtually every new Claremore organization realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners entirely recognize the crucial role their business logo can take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo works better than another. A logo has an immediate and lasting effect on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Claremore businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require contemplation, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike created for a Claremore coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an old part of the town and wanted to project a retro tone without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks via designing a custom logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Claremore clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the laboratory examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog designed for a family members fun center in Claremore.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - made for Claremore travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead reveal emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Claremore logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Claremore logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get honest assessments on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how vital a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s portion of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Claremore book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book because it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it looks like that in many instances one of the aspects folks usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a winner.

Claremore logo style utilized for marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Claremore, design consist of an arc with lines converging through it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo that carried a spirit of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept that did not go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but rather designed a business logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software designer the layout functions and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

Progress logo style created for a Claremore indoor designer, layout feature a collection of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to market their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Claremore business logo dsign using an image which pulls in the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really composed for an Claremore regional farm it was really devised for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of many which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to produce a graphic that projected self-assurance, financial success, and affluence.
Logo design designed for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is evocative a well-known sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
