Enid Logo Design

Every new Enid organization realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners entirely recognize the key role their company logo can play in their success, or exactly why one logo design performs more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting influence on the financial success of a business, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Enid companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Enid coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an older part of the community and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs by means of designing a custom logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria created for Enid medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that examines the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory examination of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping green frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Enid.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Enid traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather convey emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Enid logo but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Enid logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I honestly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their business logo understand how important a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of challenges, but the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Enid publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most essential part of a published book considering that it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the things folks usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of air travel and it was certainly a success.

Enid logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that looked to be older cases. For this brand concept I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Enid, layout consist of an arc with lines converging through it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that virtually every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo which projected a feeling of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of creating simply a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a business logo which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the attention on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application programmer the layout attributes and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the company and in many cases the significance behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Enid logo design project was undertaken for a management specialist that aids business professionals to become more efficient at managing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to sell off their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Enid business logo dsign along with a graphic that seizes the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t actually composed for an Enid regional farm it was in reality created for a products broker, and this brand was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to generate a brand mark that projects confidence, financial success, and affluence.
Logo design developed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is evocative a well-known sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the owner to create a logo design which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
