Jenks Logo Design

Each and every new Jenks business understands that they require a logo, but few new business owners fully recognize the vital role their business logo can play in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo functions far better than another. A logo design has an immediate and long-term influence on the success of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Jenks businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Jenks coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old part of the area and really wanted to project a retro feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs via creating a logo concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria designed for Jenks clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical assessment of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping green frog created for a family enjoyable center in Jenks.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - made for Jenks travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Jenks logo design but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Jenks logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his hatred for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased opinions on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to create their logo recognize how important a logo is for their organization so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of challenges, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Jenks publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is often the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems that in many cases 1 of the items individuals usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a feeling of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Jenks logo layout utilized for marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Situation includes an old typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Jenks, style consist of an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which communicated a spirit of ease and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious path of designing simply a stylized orchid but rather designed a company logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo design for a software programmer the style functions as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance behind a business logo is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Jenks logo dsign along with an image that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really produced for an Jenks regional farm it was really devised for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to make a brand mark that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo design created for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is evocative a popular sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to design a logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
