Owasso Logo Design

Each and every new Owasso organization realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully are aware of the key role their logo can make in their becoming successful, or why one business logo works more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting impact on the financial success of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Owasso businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Owasso coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older part of the community and wished to visualize a retro atmosphere without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks via designing a symbol design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and bacteria made for Owasso medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a household fun facility in Owasso.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - made for Owasso travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather convey emotional experiences through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they frequently share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Owasso logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Owasso logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial opinions on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo design comprehend how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of difficulties, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Owasso publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most vital part of a printed book due to the fact that it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity they will ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many occurrences one of the items consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Owasso logo style made use of for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Instance features an old font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Owasso, design include an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it appears that every single dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that projected a feeling of ease and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of creating just a stylized orchid but instead created a logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Logo design for a software application programmer the style features and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

Develop logo design created for a Owasso indoor designer, design function a series of red circles that intersect as well as change the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell off their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Owasso logo design dsign with an illustration which garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually designed for an Owasso area farm it was in reality developed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to design a graphic that projected esteem, success, and prosperity.
Logo made for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
