Ponca City Logo Design

Each and every new Ponca City business understands that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the vital role their business logo can play in their success, or the reason that one logo performs more effectively than another. A business logo has an immediate and lasting effect on the growth of a company, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Ponca City companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require deliberation, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Ponca City coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually launching in an old section of the city and wished to visualize a vintage tone without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of designing a custom logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs designed for Ponca City medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the clinical examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a family enjoyable facility in Ponca City.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Ponca City traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Ponca City logo design but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Ponca City logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased assessments on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their business logo realize how crucial a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s portion of challenges, however the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Ponca City publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most important part of a published book since it is ordinarily the first thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems like that in many cases one of the aspects consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was surely a winner.

Ponca City logo style used for advertising and also a label layout for Vintage Situation features an antiquated font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this brand concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Ponca City, style include an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style created for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which conveyed a spirit of serenity and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo design that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is frequently the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the importance on the perception that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design created for a horse ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a distinct brand concept customized to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. With an unique head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately identifiable equine types in the whole world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a little restaurant, style consists of a customized manuscript typeface which hovers above a team of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software program developer the style functions as well as famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Develop logo style created for a Ponca City interior developer, layout attribute a series of red circles that converge and replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

logo style provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V as well as A in center of words advanced have actually been changed to tie straight into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Ponca City logo design job was done for a leadership advisor that helps business professionals to become more successful at handling people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Ponca City business logo dsign along with an illustration that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t actually created for an Ponca City regional farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of many which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to produce a brand mark that projects self-assurance, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design created for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo design that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
