Aloha, Oregon Logo Design

Every new Aloha company knows they require a logo, yet few new business owners entirely comprehend the pivotal role their business logo will take in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo performs far better than another. A logo has a critical and long-term influence on the growth of a business, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Aloha, Oregon businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Aloha, Oregon coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an older section of the area and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs via creating a trademark design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Aloha, Oregon medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which works with the clinical examination of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family fun center in Aloha, Oregon.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Aloha, Oregon travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Aloha logo but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Aloha logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get objective viewpoints on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Aloha, Oregon publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most important part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever get to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems that in many instances one of the traits people often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was certainly a victory.

Aloha logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and also a tag design for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for everything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Aloha, Oregon, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it appears that each and every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually enjoy doing dentistry logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which carried a sense of ease and class for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious path of making merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is generally the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo style created for a horse ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed an original business logo design fashioned to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. With a distinctive head shape and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily recognizable horse breeds in the whole world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo style a little restaurant, design consists of a changed manuscript font which floats above a group of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo style for a software application developer the design attributes and also iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

Advance logo style developed for a Aloha, Oregon indoor developer, style attribute a series of red circles that intersect and also replace the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Aloha, Oregon interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. logo style provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in center of words progressed have actually been modified to link straight into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Aloha, Oregon logo design job was performed for a leadership coach that aids business leaders to become more effective at managing people, expectations, and profitability.
A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Aloha logo dsign using an image which seizes the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t actually created for an Aloha, Oregon regional farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to generate a brand mark that projects assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.

Aloha Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo style feature for ostensibly dealing with arrow and also the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design that they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without knowing where the target is. Fortunately, in this case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo developed for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is evocative a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
