Bethany Logo Design

Nearly every new Bethany business understands that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully recognize the key role their organization logo will take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo design functions more effectively than another. A logo has an immediate and long term influence on the growth of a company, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Bethany businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Bethany coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually launching in an old part of the area and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by developing a business logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as bacteria created for Bethany clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I remember in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members fun facility in Bethany.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for Bethany traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bethany logo but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Bethany logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral assessments on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their business logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo job has it’s allotment of difficulties, but the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Bethany book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most critical part of a printed book since it is often the very first thing a person views in the book shop. With respect to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many cases one of the aspects people often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a spirit of flight and it was surely a success.

Bethany logo style made use of for advertising and also a tag layout for Vintage Situation includes an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be older cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Bethany, design include an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to illustrate specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that communicated a sense of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of creating just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a business logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is usually the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the attention on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo style created for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind logotype concept customized to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of horses. With a different head shape and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily recognizable equine lineages in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo design a tiny dining establishment, style consists of a changed script typeface which hovers above a team of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo style for a software application developer the design features and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Progress logo design created for a Bethany interior developer, design attribute a collection of red circles that intersect and also replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Bethany logo dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Bethany area farm it was in reality developed for an investments broker, and this particular company was one of multiple that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to make a graphic that projects assurance, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design designed for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to design a business logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
