Central Point Logo Design

Every new Central Point venture realizes that they need a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly grasp the essential role their logo design will play in their financial success, or why one business logo works better than another. A logo has an immediate and lasting impact on the success of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Central Point companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Central Point coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an old part of the city and really wanted to visualize a vintage vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by developing a sign design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and also bacteria designed for Central Point clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which deals with the clinical evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family fun center in Central Point.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Central Point travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead project emotional experiences through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Central Point logo but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Central Point logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral assessments on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo understand how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s share of difficulties, however the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Central Point book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most essential part of a printed book because it is usually the first thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it seems that in many cases 1 of the things individuals tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was definitely a success.

Central Point logo design used for advertising and also a tag layout for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Central Point, layout include an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects because it appears that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental offices do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo that communicated a sense of calmness and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious direction of designing merely a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo design that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the main focus on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a tiny restaurant, design consists of a modified manuscript font which hovers over a team of ornate lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software application programmer the design attributes and also iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

Advance logo style produced for a Central Point interior developer, layout function a collection of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Central Point logo dsign with an illustration that pulls in the interest of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an Central Point area farm it was actually developed for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to make a graphic that projects esteem, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo designed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is similar to a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the business owner to create a business logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
