Grants Pass Logo Design

Nearly every new Grants Pass venture understands that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the key role their company logo will perform in their success, or the reason that one business logo functions more effectively than another. A company logo has an immediate and lasting influence on the prosperity of a company, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Grants Pass businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require consideration, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Grants Pass coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually launching in an older section of the area and wished to project a vintage feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks by means of designing a logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide as well as bacteria created for Grants Pass medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical assessment of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I remember where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and much more memorable.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable facility in Grants Pass.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - created for Grants Pass travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead reveal emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Grants Pass logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Grants Pass logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced opinions on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how vital a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s portion of obstacles, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Grants Pass book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is usually the first thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it looks like that in many cases 1 of the things people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of air travel and it was surely a success.

Grants Pass logo style used for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Grants Pass, design include an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it seems that each and every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which communicated a sense of ease and class for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a company logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application designer the design functions and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

logo layout provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V and also A in center of the word progressed have actually been customized to link directly into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Grants Pass logo design assignment was undertaken for a leadership expert that enables business professionals to develop into more efficient at overseeing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to market their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Grants Pass business logo dsign utilizing an image that garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really created for an Grants Pass regional farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of several that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to make a graphic that projects esteem, success, and prosperity.
Logo design created for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
