Woodburn Logo Design

Each and every new Woodburn organization knows they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly are aware of the key role their business logo can make in their success, or why one logo performs far better than another. A logo has an instant and sustaining effect on the success of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Woodburn companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Woodburn coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an old section of the area and wanted to project a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs via designing a custom logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs made for Woodburn clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which works with the clinical examination of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog made for a household fun facility in Woodburn.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Woodburn travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Woodburn logo but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Woodburn logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo recognize how vital a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s share of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Woodburn publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book since it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many instances 1 of the traits consumers tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Woodburn logo style used for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Case features an archaic font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Woodburn, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it appears that almost every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to illustrate precisely how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that projected a spirit of relaxation and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that did not go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the focus on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a distinct logo concept styled to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. With a distinctive head shape and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately identifiable horse lineages in the entire world.

Logo style for a software application developer the design features and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Advance logo design created for a Woodburn interior designer, layout attribute a series of red circles that intersect and also replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell off their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Woodburn logo design dsign utilizing a graphic that captures the attention of traffic and sends an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t really composed for an Woodburn area farm it was actually designed for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to design an identity that projects assurance, financial success, and opulence.
Logo design developed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is evocative a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the business owner to create a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
