Payson Logo Design

Each and every new Payson venture realizes that they require a logo, however few new business owners entirely grasp the essential role their organization logo can make in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo performs better than another. A company logo has a critical and long term influence on the prosperity of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Payson businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Payson coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually launching in an old section of town and hoped to project an old-fashioned tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs by developing a logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria developed for Payson clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a household fun facility in Payson.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Payson traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Payson logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Payson logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral assessments on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their business logo comprehend how crucial a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of obstacles, however the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Payson book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is usually the very first thing a person sees in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems that in many cases 1 of the things folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

Payson logo layout used for advertising and marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Instance features an old font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Payson, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects considering that it appears that almost every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that communicated a sense of calmness and class for their new hair studio. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious route of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo design which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a one-of-a-kind logotype concept tailored to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. With a distinctive head form and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most immediately identifiable horse breeds in the whole world.

Logo style for a software program programmer the layout functions and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it represents.

Advance logo design developed for a Payson indoor designer, style function a collection of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo layout done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in middle of the word advanced have been modified to connect directly into words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Payson logo design job was undertaken for a management coach that aids business leaders to develop into more efficient at overseeing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell off their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Payson logo dsign utilizing a graphic which garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t actually created for an Payson regional farm it was actually developed for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to produce a graphic that projects esteem, success, and affluence.
Logo design created for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the business owner to create a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
