Easton Logo Design

Every new Easton company understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the vital role their logo design can perform in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo functions more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and long-term influence on the growth of a company, select the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Easton companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Easton coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an older section of the area and really wanted to project a vintage vibe without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via developing a trademark concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs developed for Easton clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory assessment of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members fun facility in Easton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - created for Easton travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather reveal emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Easton logo but also to illustrate the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Easton logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get objective point of views on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to create their logo design understand how essential a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo project possesses it’s share of obstacles, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Easton book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most vital part of a printed book because it is usually the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many instances 1 of the aspects consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a spirit of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Easton logo layout made use of for marketing and also a label style for Vintage Situation features an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Easton, design include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs because it appears that every single dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that communicated a spirit of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of making just a stylized orchid but rather designed a company logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the importance on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian horse logo style created for a horse ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed an original logotype concept fashioned to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. By having an identifiable head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly immediately identifiable horse breeds in the whole world.

Logo design for a software designer the layout attributes and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance behind a company logo is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

Evolve logo style produced for a Easton indoor developer, style feature a series of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

This particular Easton logo design job was undertaken for a management guide that enables business leaders to become more effective at supervising people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Easton logo dsign utilizing an image that garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really designed for an Easton area farm it was actually developed for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to develop a graphic that projected confidence, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo developed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is reminiscent of a well-known sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo design which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
