Willow Grove Logo Design

Each and every new Willow Grove venture understands that they need a logo, but few new business owners fully realize the essential role their logo can play in their success, or the reason that one logo design performs far better than another. A logo design has an immediate and long term influence on the growth of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Willow Grove businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Willow Grove coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were launching in an older part of town and really wanted to cast an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by designing a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs developed for Willow Grove medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and a lot more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog created for a household enjoyable center in Willow Grove.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Willow Grove travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather convey emotional journeys through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Willow Grove logo design but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Willow Grove logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial viewpoints on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their business logo realize how essential a logo is for their company so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s share of obstacles, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Willow Grove book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, yet it is the most important part of a published book given that it is usually the first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems that in many instances one of the traits people tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a good sense of air travel and it was surely a success.

Willow Grove logo style utilized for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Willow Grove, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain precisely how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo that projected a sense of contentment and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but instead designed a business logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the attention on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application developer the style functions as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance behind a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V and also A in middle of the word advanced have actually been changed to tie directly into the words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Willow Grove logo design job was performed for a management specialist that enables business professionals to develop into more successful at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Willow Grove logo dsign utilizing a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really composed for an Willow Grove area farm it was in reality developed for a products broker, and this business logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to generate a brand mark that projected trust, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo developed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
