Prescott Valley Logo Design

Nearly every new Prescott Valley organization realizes that they need a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly realize the essential role their company logo will make in their financial success, or why one logo functions more effectively than another. A business logo has a critical and long-term effect on the growth of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Prescott Valley businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Prescott Valley coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an old part of the area and wanted to project a retro atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both jobs via designing a custom logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and germs developed for Prescott Valley clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the triggers and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog developed for a family fun facility in Prescott Valley.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Prescott Valley travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead convey emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Prescott Valley logo design but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Prescott Valley logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased opinions on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of hurdles, but the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Prescott Valley book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, however it really is the most necessary part of a published book because it is ordinarily the first thing a person views in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems that in many cases one of the things individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was surely a victory.

Prescott Valley logo layout used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Instance features an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Prescott Valley, layout consist of an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it seems that each and every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to explain precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which projected a sense of ease and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious course of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather created a business logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software developer the design functions as well as famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to market their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Prescott Valley logo dsign along with an image that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t actually produced for an Prescott Valley area farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of several that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to make a brand mark that projected trust, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design developed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is similar to a famous sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the owner to create a logo design which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
