Pawtucket Logo Design

Each and every new Pawtucket business realizes that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly realize the key role their organization logo can play in their success, or precisely why one logo performs far better than another. A logo has an immediate and lasting impact on the prosperity of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Pawtucket companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Pawtucket coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were opening in an old part of the city and hoped to project a vintage feel without appearing as boring or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks by designing a logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria developed for Pawtucket medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog created for a household fun center in Pawtucket.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Pawtucket travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Pawtucket logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Pawtucket logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s share of hurdles, but the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, layout for Pawtucket book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most essential part of a published book given that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the aspects consumers usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Pawtucket logo layout made use of for advertising as well as a tag layout for Vintage Situation features an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that looked to be antique cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Pawtucket, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it seems that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair style studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that related an atmosphere of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious course of creating just a stylized orchid but rather designed a logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the focus on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian steed logo design produced for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a distinct organization logo concept customized to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. By having an identifiable head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most easily identifiable equine breeds in the whole world.

Logo design for a software application developer the layout attributes and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Pawtucket logo dsign utilizing an image that garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really created for an Pawtucket regional farm it was actually developed for a products broker, and this particular logo design was one of several which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to develop an identity that projected esteem, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to design a logo design which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
