West Warwick Logo Design

Each and every new West Warwick venture understands that they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the pivotal role their organization logo can take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo works better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long-term impact on the prosperity of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help West Warwick businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require contemplation, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a West Warwick coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were launching in an old part of the community and hoped to cast a vintage tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by means of designing a business logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs made for West Warwick clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which analyzes the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which deals with the laboratory examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and even more memorable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a family fun facility in West Warwick.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - made for West Warwick traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional experiences by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  West Warwick logo but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

West Warwick logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased opinions on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo job has it’s portion of challenges, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for West Warwick book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, however it really is the most vital part of a printed book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it looks like that in many occurrences one of the things people often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of air travel and it was surely a victory.

West Warwick logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag design for Vintage Situation includes an antiquated typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this logo design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in West Warwick, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which communicated an atmosphere of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious direction of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather designed a company logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo design for a software developer the layout features and also renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to sell their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their West Warwick logo design dsign along with an illustration that seizes the interest of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t really produced for an West Warwick area farm it was in reality created for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to create an identity that projected assurance, success, and affluence.
Logo design developed for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is evocative a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the owner to develop a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
