North Myrtle Beach Logo Design

Each and every new North Myrtle Beach business understands that they need a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly understand the pivotal role their company logo can perform in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo performs better than another. A company logo has an instant and long-term impact on the prosperity of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help North Myrtle Beach businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand scrutiny, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a North Myrtle Beach coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an older part of the town and wanted to project a nostalgic vibe without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks via developing a company logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for North Myrtle Beach clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the clinical assessment of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more memorable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a household enjoyable center in North Myrtle Beach.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for North Myrtle Beach traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Myrtle Beach logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

North Myrtle Beach logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced opinions on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo design recognize how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of challenges, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for North Myrtle Beach publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most important part of a printed book due to the fact that it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it looks like that in many cases one of the items individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of flight and it was definitely a success.

North Myrtle Beach logo design utilized for marketing and also a label style for Vintage Case features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in North Myrtle Beach, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs because it seems that every single dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo which related a feeling of simplicity and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design which did not go the obvious direction of crafting simply a stylized orchid but instead delivered a company logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is oftentimes the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Logo style for a software developer the layout attributes and famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the substance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to sell off their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their North Myrtle Beach logo dsign with an image that garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really created for an North Myrtle Beach area farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this particular company was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to design an identity that projected self-assurance, success, and wealth.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
