Socastee Logo Design

Every new Socastee venture knows they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners entirely comprehend the essential role their business logo will take in their success, or precisely why one logo functions far better than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting effect on the prosperity of a business, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Socastee businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Socastee coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening in an older section of town and hoped to cast a retro tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by means of creating a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for Socastee medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and a lot more memorable.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family fun center in Socastee.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Socastee traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Socastee logo but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Socastee logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial point of views on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design understand how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of challenges, but the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Socastee publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, however it really is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits individuals tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a good sense of airline flight and it was surely a success.

Socastee logo style utilized for advertising and a tag style for Vintage Instance includes an old font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this brand design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Socastee, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs considering that it appears that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo that related a sense of ease and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather designed a logo design that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the importance on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo design produced for a horse cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind custom logo concept customized to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. By having an unique head shape and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily identifiable horse lineages in the world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo design a little restaurant, style includes a modified script font style which floats above a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Logo style for a software application designer the layout features and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Advance logo design created for a Socastee interior developer, layout function a collection of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo design done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V as well as A in middle of the word advanced have actually been customized to tie directly into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Socastee logo design project was performed for a management coach that enables business leaders to develop into more efficient at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly knew the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Socastee logo design dsign using an illustration that grabs the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually developed for an Socastee area farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this particular trademark was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to generate an identity that projects assurance, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo made for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
