Tanque Verde Logo Design

Every new Tanque Verde organization knows they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly comprehend the pivotal role their company logo can perform in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo works far better than another. A logo design has an immediate and long-term impact on the success of a company, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Tanque Verde businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Tanque Verde coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an old section of the city and wanted to visualize a retro atmosphere without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by means of developing a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and also bacteria made for Tanque Verde medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that works with the laboratory examination of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping green frog developed for a household fun facility in Tanque Verde.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Tanque Verde traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead project emotional experiences through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Tanque Verde logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Tanque Verde logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I honestly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo design recognize how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Tanque Verde publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, but it really is the most crucial part of a printed book given that it is usually the very first thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the best opportunity they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems like that in many instances one of the things consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a feeling of flight and it was surely a victory.

Tanque Verde logo layout used for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Tanque Verde, style consist of an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which communicated a spirit of contentment and class for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious course of crafting merely a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo design which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is generally the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the attention on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo style developed for a steed ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software program programmer the design functions as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

Evolve logo style produced for a Tanque Verde indoor designer, layout feature a collection of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo layout done for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and A in middle of words progressed have been changed to tie straight into the words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Tanque Verde logo design assignment was carried out for a management coach that enables business professionals to become more efficient at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly knew the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Tanque Verde logo dsign along with an image that grabs the attention of traffic and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t really produced for an Tanque Verde area farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to produce a graphic that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is similar to a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a business logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
