Collierville Logo Design

Virtually every new Collierville company knows they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners entirely are aware of the pivotal role their business logo will take in their success, or the reason that one logo works more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting influence on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Collierville companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Collierville coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening up in an old section of the area and hoped to visualize a nostalgic tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks via developing a trademark design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for Collierville medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that works with the clinical assessment of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Collierville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - made for Collierville traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Collierville logo but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Collierville logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how important a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s share of challenges, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Collierville book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most essential part of a printed book since it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it looks like that in many occurrences one of the things folks usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Collierville logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Instance includes an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Collierville, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that virtually every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair style studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which communicated an atmosphere of simplicity and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious direction of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather created a logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is in most cases the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the focus on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian equine logo layout developed for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo design a tiny restaurant, layout consists of a customized manuscript typeface which hovers over a group of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo design for a software application designer the layout features as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it represents.

Advance logo style created for a Collierville indoor developer, layout feature a series of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

logo design provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in middle of the word advanced have actually been modified to connect straight into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Collierville logo design dsign using a graphic that pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t actually created for an Collierville area farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this logo design was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to design a image that projects self-assurance, success, and wealth.
Logo design made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is similar to a famous sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo design that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
