Collierville, Tennessee Logo Design

Each and every new Collierville company knows they need a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly recognize the essential role their logo design will play in their success, or the reason that one logo design works more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting influence on the growth of a business, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a company.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Collierville, Tennessee businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Collierville, Tennessee coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an old part of the area and hoped to cast an old-fashioned tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks by means of designing a business logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria developed for Collierville, Tennessee clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the clinical assessment of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family members fun center in Collierville, Tennessee.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Collierville, Tennessee travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I think it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they frequently share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something the same to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Collierville logo design but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Collierville logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective viewpoints on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo realize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s allotment of challenges, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Collierville, Tennessee book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most necessary part of a published book given that it is usually the first thing a person views in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to confering a sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Collierville logo style utilized for advertising and a label style for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Collierville, Tennessee, design include an arc with lines converging via it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that each and every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that carried an atmosphere of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious course of creating just a stylized orchid but instead designed a business logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is generally the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo layout produced for a steed cattle ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind custom logo design tailored to display the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having an identifiable head form and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable equine lineages in the entire world.

Las Cafe logo design a small dining establishment, style contains a modified manuscript font style which hovers over a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a little restaurant, style includes a changed script font style which floats over a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo design for a software application programmer the design functions and also iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Advance logo style produced for a Collierville, Tennessee indoor developer, style feature a series of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

logo style provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and A in middle of words progressed have been modified to link straight into words below.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Collierville logo design dsign utilizing an image which pulls in the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t really produced for an Collierville, Tennessee area farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this brand was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to develop an identity that projected assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.

Collierville Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo layout function for externally facing arrow as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the freedom to explore any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo made for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is similar to a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
