Goodlettsville Logo Design

Every new Goodlettsville venture knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely realize the essential role their organization logo can take in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo works more effectively than another. A logo has an instant and lasting influence on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Goodlettsville businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Goodlettsville coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an old part of town and hoped to visualize a vintage atmosphere without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by means of designing a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Goodlettsville medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that works with the clinical assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a family enjoyable center in Goodlettsville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Goodlettsville traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Goodlettsville logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Goodlettsville logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective opinions on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their business logo recognize how essential a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of hurdles, however the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Goodlettsville book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most necessary part of a published book since it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a success.

Goodlettsville logo design used for marketing and a tag style for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be much older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Goodlettsville, style include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that each and every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo that projected a spirit of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a business logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to project to their clients.

Logo design for a software programmer the design features and also famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

Progress logo style created for a Goodlettsville indoor developer, design attribute a series of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to sell their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Goodlettsville logo dsign with a graphic which seizes the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t actually composed for an Goodlettsville area farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to generate a brand mark that projected self-confidence, success, and wealth.
Logo design created for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is similar to a popular sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to create a logo design which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
