Angleton Logo Design

Each and every new Angleton business understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely realize the crucial role their organization logo will perform in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo works better than another. A logo has a critical and long term impact on the success of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Angleton businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Angleton coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an older part of the community and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both of these jobs via designing a trademark concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria created for Angleton medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping green frog created for a family enjoyable center in Angleton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Angleton travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Angleton logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Angleton logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get honest opinions on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their business logo recognize how vital a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of obstacles, but the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Angleton publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most important part of a published book due to the fact that it is often the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many instances 1 of the things people tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Angleton logo layout used for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Situation includes an archaic typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Angleton, design include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that conveyed a sense of serenity and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of designing merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo design which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo layout for a software designer the style functions as well as famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it represents.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Angleton logo design dsign utilizing a graphic that captures the interest of traffic and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really produced for an Angleton area farm it was really developed for a products broker, and this particular business logo was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to design an identity that projects assurance, financial success, and luxury.
Logo developed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is evocative a renowned sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo design that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
