Atascocita, Texas Logo Design

Nearly every new Atascocita company realizes that they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely realize the vital role their organization’s logo will perform in their becoming successful, or why one business logo functions more effectively than another. A business logo has a critical and lasting influence on the growth of a business, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Atascocita, Texas companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to movie screens a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos which work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.
Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Atascocita, Texas coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an old section of the community and wished to cast an old-fashioned feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both of these jobs by means of designing a company logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and bacteria made for Atascocita, Texas medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping green frog developed for a household fun facility in Atascocita, Texas.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Atascocita, Texas traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Atascocita logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Atascocita logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo design understand how essential a logo design is for their business so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s portion of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Atascocita, Texas publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most critical part of a published book given that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publisher, it’s the best opportunity they will ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Atascocita logo design used for marketing and a label design for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Atascocita, Texas, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it appears that almost every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo which projected a spirit of simplicity and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious direction of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is in most cases the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the focus on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software application developer the design attributes and iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Atascocita business logo dsign using an image which garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t really created for an Atascocita, Texas regional farm it was really devised for a products broker, and this particular brand was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to create a graphic that projected trust, financial success, and prosperity.

Atascocita Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for outwardly encountering arrow as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the freedom to explore any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where the target is. Thankfully, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the first go.

Logo design made for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to produce a logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
