Bellaire Logo Design

Every new Bellaire company realizes that they need a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly understand the vital role their organization logo will perform in their financial success, or precisely why one logo functions far better than another. A logo design has an instant and lasting effect on the success of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Bellaire companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Bellaire coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old part of the area and hoped to project a vintage vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by means of designing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Bellaire medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a family enjoyable center in Bellaire.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - created for Bellaire traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bellaire logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Bellaire logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased opinions on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how important a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s share of obstacles, but the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Bellaire publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, however it is the most necessary part of a published book since it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it looks like that in many instances 1 of the aspects folks usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Bellaire logo layout utilized for advertising and a label style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Bellaire, layout consist of an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it seems that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which carried an atmosphere of serenity and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of designing simply a stylized orchid but rather created a company logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is in most cases the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the attention on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Logo layout for a software programmer the design attributes and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a company logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

Progress logo style produced for a Bellaire indoor designer, layout attribute a collection of red circles that intersect as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to market their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Bellaire logo dsign along with a graphic which pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually developed for an Bellaire regional farm it was in reality devised for a commodities broker, and this company was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to create a image that projected trust, success, and luxury.
Logo designed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is evocative a well-known sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to create a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
